Asociación Colombiana de Cafés Especiales wants to group these skills to accomplish something extraordinary. From working hands of the grower of coffee into the hands of skilled Barista with an exquisite taste and talent can prepare the most delicious cup of Colombian coffee.
We want to be the instrument of support for Colombia to become the leading provider of specialty coffees in the world integrating all participants in the coffee value chain: producers, exporters, roasters, cafes, bakeries, restaurants, Barista, Tasters, Professional and related.
Promote cooperation among all segments of the Colombian coffee industry and provide multiple services to members of the Colombian Association of Specialty Coffee which can increase their efficiency and welfare.
The Colombian Association of Specialty Coffees was born in May 2003 as a nonprofit organization. Specialty Coffee Program of USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development) in Colombia has helped us expand our range of action through ACDI / VOCA and counseling CQI Coffee Quality Institute, a non-profit organization that works internationally to improve the quality of coffee and the lives of the people who produce it.

  • Participation of National Champions World Barista Championship in Tokyo, Copenhagen and Atlanta.

  • Diagnosis of the Coffee Producers’ Organizations in the Family Program Coffee Ranger.

  • Quality Evaluation at the farm level.
  • Integration of the different stakeholders in the coffee value chain, as far as quality is concerned.

  • Assist groups of small producers of quality coffee in shaping its activities on traceability.
  • Facilitating business relationships that develop between the members of the chain.
